The Burns Price Foundation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales. The Foundation seeks to promote good citizenship by providing grants to young people aged 11-18 who wish to undertake supervised projects with a community enhancing purpose. Projects are likely to focus on reparation, peace building, restorative justice or care for the local environment.
Information we collect
We collect your personal information when you apply for a grant, submit an Adult Supervisor Form in support of an applicant or sign-up to receive a copy of our newsletter.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to contact you and to process your application. If your application is successful, we share details of your project in Burns Price Foundation publicity and promotional materials. We do not share your personal information with other organisations.
How long we hold your information for
We hold information on successful applicants and their adult supervisors for three years after completion of the project. This enables us to keep in touch and evaluate the impact of grants awarded. If we wish to continue to keep in touch after three years we will ask your permission.
We hold contact details for those who sign-up to receive a newsletter for three years. After three years we will contact you to ask if you wish to continue to receive the newsletter.
